Bruno Wu has served as our co-Chairman since September 2001. Prior to 
joining us, Mr. Wu served as Executive Chairman for Sun Television 
Cybernetworks Holdings Ltd., a media company since August 2000 and as Chief 
Executive Officer for Sun Television Cybernetworks Holdings Ltd. since 
February 2001. Mr. Wu was the Chief Operating Officer of Asia Television 
Limited, a media company in Hong Kong, from June 1998 to February 1999. Mr. 
Wu has received a Diploma of Superior Studies in French Literature from the 
University of Savoie in France, a B.S. in Business Administration and 
Finance from Culver-Stockton College, a master degree from Washington 
University, a Ph.D. from Barrington University and a Ph.D. in International 
Politics from Fudan University in Shanghai, China

Present

Bruno Wu is the Co-Chairman of Sina.com, the global No.1 Chinese web portal 
site. He was the Founder, Executive Chairman & Group Chief Executive 
Officer for Sun Television Cybernetworks Holdings Ltd., a publicly listed 
company in Hong Kong that operates two satellite television channels & 
several television, video and broadband content distribution businesses in 
the greater China region. Sun TV obtained Forbes magazine global 
recognition of being one of the 300 Global Best Small Cap Companies and was 
the only one company from China to be amongst the top 20 in Oct 2000.

Mr. Wu joined and served as the Chief Operating Officer of ATV, one of the 
two free-to-air networks in Hong Kong, from June 1998 until February 1999, 
when he departed to pursue his current business. During his tenure at ATV, 
Mr. Wu drastically improved ATV’s performance that included both its rating 
and financial standings. In fact, his performance broke the rating record 
in Hong Kong television history for ATV.

Mr. Wu has also been the Chairman of “Bruno Wu & Associates” / “Blue World 
Media Holding” ? a media investment banking, investment & strategic 
consulting firm since 1991. “Bruno Wu & Associates” and “Blue World Media 
Holding” have served a number of multinational clients in the last eight 
years and engaged in several substantial media-related mergers and 
acquisitions.

Education

Mr. Bruno Wu received his Diploma of Superior Studies in French Literature 
from the University of Savoie, France in 1986. He received his Bachelor of 
Science in Business Administration-Finance from Culver-Stockton College in 
USA in 1989, his Master’s degree from Washington University, USA in 1993 
and Ph.D from Barrington University, USA in 1996. And a second Ph.D. in the 
International Politics Department of College of Law, Fudan University, 
Shanghai, China in 2001. Mr. Wu is also a guest professor at Peking 
University, Tsinghua University and Shanghai University.

Related Activities

Mr. Bruno Wu is a member of both the International Council and the 
Foundation of National Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences, USA, the 
organization that issues the International Emmy Award every year. In July, 
2000, Mr. Wu was appointed to be the Chairman of the Interactive 
International Television Forum (iTVi) affiliated with the Council. Mr. Wu 
is also a member of the international board of Museum of Television & Radio 
in New York & Los Angeles. Mr. Wu is also the International Adviser in 
Chief to “Project Hope”-China’s largest charity foundation and to the China 
Economic Research Center at Peking University. Mr. Wu is also a “Goodwill 
Ambassador for Hong Kong ”, title given by the Hong Kong Tourist 
Association. Mr. Wu’s first book “The Role of Media to China’s National 
Status” was published in late Fall of 2000.

Awards

Bruno Wu has received many awards for his business performance and social 
contribution. He received the “Super Media Star Award” issued by “Hong Kong 
? Macau Distinguished Person’s Society” in October 1998.
